I purchased 1million, initially the leather note was quite loud, but it seems the fragrance has matured somewhat now that ive had it for a while. I never quite thought of it until I saw this video, so thanks and I look forward to more! (p.s please review bond no.9 fire island, its my first niche!)
Hello, I just picked up a Mont Blanc Legend this evening, and it reads ” use it before 3 years from packed “, I had plans of starting up a collection, but as i understood from your video, i believe it can be stored much longer than without having harmed the precious oils in the perfume, would you be able to guide me more please,coz I dont my perfume fragrances to die / expire after a centain period of time, i want to remain intact forever
, thanks in advace for your help and advice , cheers.
good video, i keep my few colognes in my dresser, and i always have my ac on unless its cold. so thay usually stay around 60-70 degrees, and they are safe from light. how long do you think they would last?
how can I know that the fragrances in department store has fresh juice?
Thanks
i am skeptical on shelf life. i usually buy the smallest bottles possible, but my mom gave me a huge bottle of obsession in 2005 and i have kept it in the bathroom with my other colognes. i dont wear obsession often so the bottle is still more than half after 6 years and it still smells the same. i think the only thing that would hurt them is sunlight, or temperatures very high. i think they will last well over a decade as long as the lid is shut tight. just a personal opinion.
hi cubby! thanks for the info.
WOW, doing all the vids in one day! Hardcore man!
My father has had a bottle of Pizaz for men for 40yrs since he was 20! And it still smells like the same total cat feces after all these years.
Thanks Cubby grand stuff!
Thanks for this, Cubbywubby! This will definitely help alot of people =)
a lot more to storage than i new.
VERY informative! Thanks for posting
.
another homerun cubby you are doing the community a great service with these videos
@ElunesNightHunt
Fuge… Thanks
I always keep my bottles in the boxes, since I do not have a fridge for this… nice video man!
Great video I was very curious about this, thanks Cubby!
@cformosa4 Here is a question for you. Some bottles are dark or painted black. Would this generally be decently protected from the average light source?
@Guinea54 haha yea for sure! They look much prettier on display.
@Ekove should have mentioned a wine cooler becz that would be optimal. Most sources say the fridge is great if you live in regions that have a hot climate. i can see why you would think it would be bad becz extreme temperature in general is bad. however, in the fridge it stays that temp and stays constant (pulling it out for a second wont change it much). When colder, the molecules jump around at a slower rate (the chemical reaction that happens in the bottle is slowed down) and lasts longer.
nice video man! I dunno about keeping mine in the fridge, dont have enough room, but i will try to keep them in the boxes … doesn’t look as pretty tho! lol. I think a lot of people liek to have bottles on display for the looks of em.
@cformosa4 thanks i appreciate it !
Thanks for the tips.You are so effing cute!
Nice videos Cubby. I have a bottle of ADG that i’ve had sitting on my burrow in my room for about 6 years now and it has definitely gone bad. Smells really peppery now and im guessing its from the light shining on it. I keep all my bottles in a spare drawer out of light =)
I’m no expert Cubby, but keeping them in the fridge is most likely a big nono. Extreme temperatures are never good, especially when it happens randomly. Imagine pulling out the fragrance right away from the fridge, it’s like frying a piece of frozen fish right away. Wine fridges on the other hand I can vouche for, since a few houses do store their fragrances in those, at about 8c to 12c.
And here’s a tip: shelf life is proportional to longevity for obvious reasons
Good vid!
I think versace the dreamer evolved, the harsh opening toned down after a year.
@beefdog yeah thats great!!!
